Wing Span: 36mm to 42mm.

Flight Period: February to April.

Habitat: Habitats are bushy places with tree's and include, parks and gardens, commons, heath land, woods.

Comment: This moth is widely distributed over the UK, and is fairly common. The adult moths are quite variable in colour.

Status: Resident in UK.

Wing Span: 40mm to 45mm.

Flight Period: October to December.

Habitat: Found in bushy area's with tree's like, open wood land, parks, gardens, commons.

Comment: This moth is a common, and widely distributed resident through out the British Isles.

Status: Resident in UK.

Wing Span: 36mm to 42mm.

Flight Period: April until June.

Habitat: They inhabit woodland, commons, parks and gardens, where ever Privet, Lilac and Red Currant grow.

Comment: This moth is fairly common in the southern half of England, and most of Wales. It is scarcer northwards as far as Cumbria, and County Durham.

Status: Resident in UK.

Wing Span: 40mm to 48mm.

Flight Period: June to August, some times again in September.

Habitat: Habitats are damp wooded area's, parks, gardens.

Comment: This moth is common, and widely distributed in England, Wales, Ireland and southern Scotland. Scarcer in the north.

Flight Period: March and April, again from June until August.

Habitat: Bushy places where there are tree's and shrubs.

Comment: This moth is common, and wide spread in England, and Wales. Less common in Scotland, Inner Hebrides and Ireland.

Flight Period: June and July.

Habitat:  They inhabit bushy places with tree's including, open wood land, gardens, parks, commons, tree lined hedgerows and many other places.

Comment: This moth is a common, and widely distributed resident through out most of the British Isles.

Status: Resident in UK.

Wing Span: 34mm to 40mm.

Flight Period: May and June.

Habitat: They inhabit coniferous and mixed wood land, and can be found in suburban parks, gardens, woods and hedgerows near Corsican, or Scot's Pine plantations.

Comment: Moths of this species, are locally common residents over much of the British Isles.
