Status: Resident in UK. Wing Span:44mm to 52mm. Flight Period: April and May. Habitat: This moth is single brooded and is on the wing in late April and May. Comment: This moth is a widespread resident, and is common in its larval stage over most of England. It is found as far north as County Durham and Cumbria. In Wales the species is localised and quite scarce. |

Status: Resident in UK. Wing Span: 47mm to 56mm. Flight Period: Pyramidea: August to October, Berbera: July to September. Habitat: Both can be found in where ever there is suitable trees. Comment: Fairly common and wide spread in England & Wales, as far north as Yorkshire. Berbera: Is recorded from Glasgow, but not Ireland. Pyramidea: has few records in Ireland and Scotland. |
