Field Mushroom:

Warning: This is an edible and delicious form of wild mushroom. Exercise extreme caution when picking, there are many lookalike species that are poisonous. Personally I wouldn't consider picking and eating wild fungi, it's risky unless you really know what you are doing, and food in the shops is so freely available.

Habitat: This mushroom can be found in many places such as meadows, pastures, parks, gardens and around woodland edges to mention a few.

Comment: Common throughout the British Isles.
