Common Daisy:

UK Status: Native and resident,

Flowering Period: All the flowers close up at night, and re-open in the morning as soon as it's light enough. They flower from March through to September, but are most prolific from mid spring, to early summer.

Appx Height: Up to 20cm in height.

Habitat: This plant although native to western Asia and all of Europe, has spread throughout the whole world. Sometimes called the Lawn Daisy, or English Daisy. This is a plant that thrives in grassy areas, provided that the grass isn't to tall. Habitats include garden lawns, parks, cemeteries, roadside verges and many other grassy places.

Comment: This perennial, herbaceous plant is common and widespread In the British Isles.
