Yellow Flag:

UK Status: Resident and Native.

Flowering Period: From May through to August.

Appx Height: 100cm to 150cm.

Habitat: This is a plant of wetland and the margins of ponds, pools lakes, canals and slow rivers. .

Comment: This plant is a beautiful and fairly common sight around the UK. The species is a member of the Iris family, and is a herbaceous plant.
