Water Mint:

UK Status: Resident and native to the UK.

Flowering Period: From late June through into October.

Appx Height: From 12cm 24cm tall, but can get up to 90cm in height.

Habitat: This is a plant that loves wet ground, it is found on the edges of slow moving streams and rivers, around the side of pools, and on wet marshy ground.

Comment: This pretty plant is widely distributed throughout the British Isles, and is quite common in some areas.
