Meadowsweet:

UK Status: Native and resident.

Flowering Period: From June through into September.

Appx Height: From three feet and up to six feet tall.

Habitat: This plant is a a member of the Rosaceae (Rose) family, and is found in damp meadows.

Comment: This plant isn't especially pretty to look at, but was much sought after in the past. It's heavy sweet smell of the blooms, and the plants medicinal properties make it a well known, and liked herbacious plant.
